Dr. Hong Liu is a professor in Institute for Advanced Interdisciplinary Research (iAIR) and State Key Laboratory of Crystal Materials, Shandong University,. He received his PhD degree in 2001 from Shandong University (China). Until now, he has filed 40+ patent applications and 300+ papers with total citation of over 18000 and H-index of 64. In 2009, he was awarded as Distinguished Young Scholar by National Natural Science Foundation of China. His current research is focused mainly on nanostructured energy materials, biosensors, biomaterials and tissue engineering, especially the interaction between stem cell and nanostrucutured biomaterials.
