Prof. Kun Ma received his Ph.D degree in Computer Software and Theory from Shandong University, Jinan, Shandong, China, in 2011. He is the Professor in School of Information Science and Engineering, University of Jinan, China and Shandong Provincial Key Laboratory for Network based Intelligent Computing. He is the leader of Shandong Youth Innovation Team - Internet and Big Data. He presides 1 National Natural Science Foundation of China (NSFC), and 5 provincial scientific research projects and 5 teaching research projects. He has authored and coauthored over 100 research publications in peer-reviewed reputed journals and conference proceedings. His entire publications have been cited over 760 times (Google Scholar). 15 of his papers have been cited over 20 times. The latest Google h-index of his publications is 19. He has served as the program committee member of various international conferences and reviewer for various international journals. He is the Co-Editor-in-Chief of International Journal of Computer Information Systems and Industrial Management Applications (IJCISIM). He is the managing editor of Journal of Information Assurance and Security (JIAS). He is the editorial board member of Engineering Applications of Artificial Intelligence (JCR Q1) ,International Journal of Grid and Utility Computing and International Journal of Intelligent Systems Design and Computing. He is the guest editor of International Journal of Grid and Utility Computing ,Informatica, International Journal of Communication Networks and Distributed Systems, Recent Patents on Computer Science, and International Journal of Services Technology and Management. He is the Committee Member of China Software Industry Association. He is the evaluation expert of Shandong Software Industry Association, and Department of Industry and Information Technology of Shandong Province. His research interests include natural language processing, data intensive computing, big data management, and stream data processing. He has obtained 23 patents for inventions.
